"The Da Vinci Code" - phenomenon? Disappointment

"Be part of the phenomenon" - Tt's what was quoted from the posters and trailers.

Phenomenon?? Did they quote right? Sounds more like disappointment.

Refering to "The Da Vinci Code" btw. The book was miles better.
I never really agreed with critics and reviews but this time ard, i shld have given them the benefit of the doubt and believed them. The movie was kinda mundane until Ian McKellen (potrayed Sir Leigh Teabing in the show) came onto screen. The critics were spot on for this. He was really the one who lit up the show.

Up nxt...

exorcising demons 3/4 done.

Feeling so much better already.

I found time to breathe and to settle my thoughts.

However, i'm not done just yet. The process is incomplete and progress stands at approx. 75%.

I wish i am able to take a step back in life for now. Just to relax.

Time-out.

Time-off.

"Daisy" + work

"Daisy" is an excellent show!
If that's not convincing enough, the show has got Jeon Ji-Hyun!

Work is tiring. Work is mundane.

Getting slightly sick of it.

To make things worse, ppl there don't really interact. I'm missing "planning-hood".

Initially, i thought it was because they had to attend to continuous in-coming phone calls and settle their ever piling paperwork. Thereafter, i found out the out of the 12 ppl, only 1 had served longer than 4 mths there so i thought "Maybe they just need time to settle??" I started to see changes, albeit on the superfical level. Until i spoke to this guy today. "You can tell when ppl are happy when they come to work. First thing in the morning, u're greeted by glum faces" he remarked. It struck me that maybe after all, i was wrong bout' the "changes".

I sense no sincerity when ppl thank you for helping them. Is this the real world; competitive and unfeeling?

If it is, is not no room for "co-opetition"??? (Competition and Cooperation)

What happened to the highly energised and vibrant environment that companies are trying to inculcate?

Its easily observered that ppl there don't have a sense of belonging. They come and leave w/o souls. Working past 6 wasn't a problem for me back in 'G' but now, i will have to consider before i decide to stay on even thou i can get paid.

There ain't bonding. There ain't communication. There ain't friendships that go deeper than the surface of the ice.

I pity the ppl. I pity the environment.

Lunch time is the only thing i look forward during the course of work as its the time when i can interact with the others (majority from another dept).
